£52/day  including lunch and refreshments. For those enrolling for all three days in July, cost will be £150.

Join a class of beginners and more experienced painters in this beautiful and iconic setting.

Between Eastbourne and Seaford, the famous meanders of the River Cuckmere reach the sea. We are priviledged to have the use of house and garden at no. 5 Coastguards Cottages, perching right above the sea.

We will focus on responding to the land and seascape quickly with a simple, portable kit.

Materials can be provided if required.

In the case of bad weather, there is ample space to observe the drama from indoors.

The cottage offers accommodation in its romantic studio with majestic views.

Firle Beacon, Alison Cotton

In the Summer we hold  small classes here in our garden and paddock. There are views of the Long Man of Wilmington and of Firle Beacon. Shelter is provided in the event of wind or showers.
